1st Ever Event Kickoff

With this being the first year for Kilometers 4 Kiddos and the first charity team event on Twitch for Zwift, the first block and start of the marathon were going to be crucial for the team to make their name.

So how do you set the stage and make sure everyone sticks around? By kicking things off with a hype introduction to the team! The community gets to learn who and what the team is about, the cause behind it and gets to feel the hype of the event.

This hype introduction would become the go-to for all years going forward, only getting more and more intense every year!

First Year

The first Kilometers 4 Kiddos marathon was 75 hours continuous content spread of over 4 days. The team took on their first ever marathon, learning all along the way.

Worldwide

With team members from all over the world ranging from the US and Canada to the Netherlands and New Zealand, the 2021 event was truly a worldly affair.

Top Team

During the 2021 PLAY LIVE season for St. Jude fundraising, K4K stayed in the top teams overall for fundraising, going toe to toe with established teams!

$23,165.93 Raised

In the team’s first year, they managed to raise a staggering amount. Especially considering this is a team comprised of all new fundraisers to both St. Jude and online fundraising as a whole!

638 Total Donations

The first year, the community came out in force to show their support for a new team and the unique task they were undertaking. With this being an entirely new team to fundraising, this is a landmark number of donations!

$36 Avg. Donation Amount

Not only did the team bring in a massive number of donations in their first year, the donations themselves were massive on average! To say the team came out swinging to make a name for themselves would be an understatement!

From the Top

The numbers don’t lie and with only 75 hours on the table for the marathon, a total of over 2,000 hours watched among all streamers tells quite the tale! Viewers couldn’t stop watching!

Voices of Support

The Zwifters of the marathon were never quite alone in their journey. With an average of 28 viewers per block, the team drew quite a crowd (some who stayed for most of the 75 hours!)

Many Riders, Many Highlights

With 24 unique Zwift streamers from around the world on the team, it’s not surprising that each streamer brought their own flavor to the table. Don’t believe us? Below is a little taste of 2021’s marathon. With nearly double the team members for 2022, you can imagine it’s only going to be more chaotic fun in the year to come.
