A whole new era for the team. A new sponsor opened up new doors, both literally and figuratively! The K4K marathon will never be the same again!

2023 Team Highlights

A New Year. A New Sponsor. New Goals.

In 2023, the team added a new sponsor to the team, Primal Wear, quite possibly the best partner Kilometers 4 Kiddos could have asked for. Alongside Primal, the team was able to not only get kitted out in incredible gear that matched the team’s aesthetic, they also opened their doors to the team on multiple occasions. To film for the kit reveal, to film for the team reveal and eventually for much more. Even helping build the groundwork to bring on board a whole new party for the next year.

1st EVER Live Event at Primal Wear

Our new sponsor, Primal Wear, not only helped us get kitted out in some of the nicest cycling kit we’ve ever had our hands on, they also opened their doors to us as we moved from purely live streaming our antics, to hosting our first ever IRL event! This year, the marathon opened to a whole new look, a live event where the crowd finally had the ability to effect the stream live, and not just via chat. While it created new challenges, it also allowed us to take our charity incentives to a whole new level.

All of a sudden, it wasn’t just challenges in the game. Now, spectators could pick up Nerf guns and pelt the team with bullets. Failed trivia questions could lead to punishments IRL. And above all, there was a new level of motivation as friends and family could attend and participate live. But this was only the first year, there’s more to come!

7 Days

For the 2nd year in a row, the team tackled 7 days straight of fundraising shenanigans through 49 different blocks of content. From Monday to Sunday, the team shed sweat and tears in the name of charity.

31 Riders – Far and Wide

The Oceania contingent came out strong this year as multiple Australians joined the team and made their mark. We even managed to convince a member of our sponsor to join us after they saw what we do.

147 Hours

The team’s biggest marathon yet to date! Every year the team goes bigger and this year was no exception with 147 total hours of content back to back! The team delivered every hour!

$23,397 Raised

Nearly $24,000 raised by the team in their 3rd year! For a team fighting an uphill battle of fundraising in a niche category and sport, they never cease to amaze, always pushing the edge of what’s possible!

~600 Total Donations

Only the team’s 3rd year and they managed to bring in 600 donations! The team never ceases to amaze with how they continue to unite a very niche community to do such amazing things!

$39 Avg. Donation Amount

Nearly $40 per donation?! That’s a staggering amount our team managed to achieve. With this being only their 3rd year, the team is making a name for themselves!

Local & Corporate Buy In

For our first ever live event, Primal Wear collaborated with K4K for the first time, making customize jersey’s, supporting the creation of videos and ads, to hosting an event in their corporate office.

Voices of Support

The team was never alone in their suffering. Over 325 donations had messages of support from the community (ok, some were definitely challenges but our team thrives on those too!)

Unique Riders, Unique Highlights

The team is made up of so many riders from all over the world, each bringing their own flavor to the table when it comes to fundraising. From a running potato (yes, you heard me right), to some pretty impressively accurate animal sounds, the team covered quite a wild array of challenges and moments in the name of fundraising. Pictionary was played, chicken dances were had and some moments some people would probably rather forget, all while still somehow managing to ride or run. The team always brings new things to the table, year in and year out.
